Gurgaon, or Gurugram, is one of the most rapidly developing urban centers. The master plan of Gurgaon city was published on 5th Feb 2007, targeting a population of 3. 7 million people with a head density of one person per acre. The plan includes an increase of the city's sector from 58 to 115, spreading across the southern peripheral road (SPR) & northern peripheral road (NPR). NPR is popularly known as Dwarka Expressway. This formulates a well-rounded long-term plan of how the city is going to be in the future, including the nature of development and land use, transportation, infrastructure, and environmental impacts.
